Abstract Milimeter-sized single crystals of chiral antiferromagnet CsMn(HCOO)3 was synthesized and its magnetic properties studied. The compound crystallized in the Sohncke space group P6322 and its structure was thermally stable. Under a magnetic field perpendicular to the helical c-axis, the compound showed several magnetic transitions below its Néel temperature. These transitions were dependent on the magnetic field and may suggest the presence of spin soliton in CsMn(HCOO)3. Moreover, anisotropic properties were further studied by using angular-dependence analysis, which revealed an anomaly when the magnetic field direction was tilted from the helical axis of the crystal.
