摘要
In article number 1804557, Danny Porath, Yossi Paltiel, and co-workers demonstrate imprinting of ferromagnetism on super paramagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (SPIONs) following asymmetric self-assembled adsorption of polyalanine chiral molecules. The adsorbed chiral molecules stabilize the magnetization direction of SPIONs at room temperature with a coercive field of about 80 Oe. This procedure allows reduction in size of magnetic memory systems.
