摘要
Abstract Some of the Group IVA and VA transition metal dichaicogenides have been intercalated with aniline, pyridine, cyclopropylamine and n-octadecylamine Transmission spectra at 77 K have been recorded before and after intercalation, and electron diffraction patterns of the intercalation complexes have also been recorded. The spectra of the intercalation complexes, which show evidence for charge transfer from the organic molecules to the host materials, are tentatively interpreted in terms of the band structures. Factors influencing this charge transfer am discussed.
