24GHz Substrate Integrated Waveguide power splitter for six-port short range radar based sensor

摘要
A 24 GHz Substrate Integrated Waveguide power splitter is proposed for use in a six-port short range radar based sensor. In this work, the SIW power splitter is designed with Y-junction configuration. The SIW technique enables the power splitter to have low insertion loss, low cost and features uniplanar circuit. The simulated input return loss is better than 27 dB and the insertion loss is about 3.5 dB ±0.5 dB at the center frequency of 24 GHz.
