The Role of Adipokine in Obesity and Insulin Resistance(Summary)

It is well established that there is a close relationship between adipokines,insulin resistance and obesity.This review focuses on the effect of adipokines on obesity and insulin resistance from the relationship between adipokines and macrophage infiltration of adipose tissue in obesity,adipokines and inflammation and insulin resistance signaling pathways,adipokines and endoplasmic reticulum stress and insulin resistance.This paper put emphasis on connections among adipokines,obesity,inflammation and insulin resistance.
