The suitable measurement conditions for the determination of trace zinc in tap-water by hydride generation-atomic fluorescence spectrometry(HG-AFS) were studied, focusing on optimizing conditions of instruments and reagents, and the effect of zinc signal reinforcer on the determination was inspected. The results showed that under the optimized conditions, the fluorescence intensity was large and stable. The linear range was 0—250μg·L-1 with r=0.9898,the detection limit was 0.55μg·L-1 and the recovery was 82.53%—104.6% with RSD of 3.2%—7.0%.The method was applied to determining zinc in water with satisfactory result.
