Ovality Control of SAWH Pipe

In this article,it introduced the effect of steel pipe ovality exceeding standard on pipeline site operation,analyzed influence factors for ovality exceeding standard of SAWH pipe.Aiming at control SAWH pipe ovality,some feasible measures were put forward,such as adjusting process parameters by optimizing forming,controlling weld peak by improving pre-bending device,improving mechanical clap roller to guarantee milling edge quality and etc.Effectively control ovality exceeding standard is with some directive significance for improving manufacturing quality of SAWH pipe.
