Research on Anticoagulation of Caffeine on Mice

The effects of caffeine gavage on the bleeding time( BT),coagulation time( CT),activated partial thromboplastin time( APTT),prothrombin time( PT) and thrombin time( TT) of BALB / c mice were studied. The results showed that caffeine significantly increased both BT and CT of mice,but it had no significant influences on APTT,PT and TT values,fibrinogen content,PT activity and PT international normalized ratio.
