Remaining in the Ordeal Way of Miao Customary Law and Modern Judicial Practice:Example for the Judicial Culture in Qiandonnan Region

Qiandonnan Miao people in Guizhou live in Leishan Mountain and Yueliang Mountain region,which is inaccessible in traffic,and compared with the outside world,its economic development level is still poor.Miao traditional customary law has a unique dispute resolution-ordeal.Over the long term,It plays a very important role within the Miao Villages community.With the changes in the economic development,the ways of ordeal has changed greatly,and has gradually evolved,with losing the original effect,but it is not dead,still play a role in modern judicial practice.It also reflect on the left way of the ordeal in Miao customary law.
