摘要
The tribological performance of high velocity dry sliding of materials investigated by numerous studies in recent ten years is reviewed.Friction and wear mechanisms of different materials are discussed.The effects of temperature,frictional couple,surface modification and surface topography on the tribological properties are analyzed.It is proposed that the problems may exist in high speed tribology.It is suggested that frictional heating,thermal behavior and thermal degradation are the future research topics in high speed tribology.
