Objective To explore the effects of carbon dioxideCO2 pneumoperitoneum on pH value of gastric mucosapHi. Methods 40 cases of infantile macrocolon radical operation were performed under peritoneoscope with CO2 pneumoperitoneum.Gastric juice was drawed to use assay the CO2 pressure of gastric mucosaPiCO2 before pneumoperitoneum,at 30 min after pneumoperitoneum and after deflation respectively. At same time, the arterial partial pressure of CO2 PaCO2,arterial pressure of oxygen PaO2 and pH valuepHi as well as O2 pressure in gastric mucosaPiO2 were also monitored, obtained parameters of blood gas were putted up into the Henderson-Hasseribach formula, final the pHi value was calculated out. Results PiCO2 value in the pneumoperitoneum period and at 30 min after deflation were obviously increased than that in before pneumoperitoneumall P0.05.pHi value in the pneumoperitoneum period and after defletion were remarkable lower than that of before pneumoperitoneumP0.05;PiO2 value had not significantly changes in before and after pneumoperitoneum period.Arterial PaCO2 in the pneumoperitoneum and at 30 min after deflation were increased than those of before pneumoperitoneumP0.01,but pH value was lower than that in before pneumoperitoneumP0.01. Conclusions Period of the infantile peritoneoscope operation, gastric mocosa exists ischemic hypoperfusion phenomenon under CO2 pneumoperitoneum.
