51 Cases of Transient Ischemic Attacks Treated with Combined Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine

[Objective]To observe the efficacy of combined treatment of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine on transient ischemic attacks.[Method]According to the methodology of traditional Chinese medicine,the 51 cases of the disease are divided into four types,namely the Qi — stagnancy and blood stasis type,the phlegm — damp and obstruction type,the liver - kidney Yin - deficiency type,and liver - Yang hyperactivity type,which are treated respectively.[Result]The cure rate is 92.1%.[Conclusion]Treatment based on traditional Chinese differentiation of symptoms and signs can shorten the treatment course for patients suffering from transient ischemic attacks.
