摘要
The digital infrastructure and high-tech technologies influence the energy consumption and industrial sustainability, promoting more clean solutions and developing the renewable energy transition in accordance with the COP29 priorities. This study's objective is to examine the influences of digital services, digital supply chains, fuel exports, eco-technologies, and official development flows on renewable energy consumption using the 2000 to 2023 time period. This offers policy insights for a sustainable digital-green transformation and focuses on the COP29 aims. The Quantile-on-Quantile Kernel Regularized Least Squares (Quantile-KRLS) model was used to evaluate renewable energy consumption, and a Quantile Regression was conducted as a robustness test to confirm the stability of the results. The findings indicate that digital services and fuel exports revealed weak associations, demonstrating their marginal involvement in renewable energy consumption. Digital supply chains and eco-technologies have a positive influence on the use of renewable energy, and, especially at higher levels, where their development affects it more. Official development flows exhibit a moderate positive relationship with renewable energy consumption. To attain sustainable development and the COP29 goals, policy-makers should focus on digital supply chain improvement and the promotion of eco-technologies since they bring a significant gain to renewable energy consumption.
