Architectural innovation competence based on modularization

From the view of SMEs' practice, authors of this paper put forward the model of enterprise architectural innovation competence (EAIC) based on the nested structure of modularization. It is linked with the case analysis of KR Company's growth progress, and illuminated the necessary condition of EAIC for SME during the growth to be a large enterprise. It also points out the importance of data architectural innovation competence (DAlC) for SMEs to break through the bottle neck to become a large company.
