A modular scaffold for cellularly-retained fluorogenic probes for sensitive cell-resolved bioactivity imaging

In this work a modular scaffold is developed for fluorogenic probes that are cellularly retained after activation. It can be equipped to detect diverse enzymatic activities or reactive species, with high sensitivity and cell-by-cell resolution.
