Effect of island nitriding on tribological properties of 30KhGSA steel

The effect of island nitriding on increasing the wear resistance of the surface layer of mating parts made of 30KhGSA steel is considered. It is shown when using island nitriding, wear resistance increases by 2.4—2.7 times.
