摘要
Abstract Electrochromic material can change its optical property by the applied low electric field. It has attracted more attention because of its potential application in various fields. In this paper, the simple electrochromic device was manufactured by the indium-doped tin oxide (ITO) glass as the electrochromic layer. The optical transmittance of ITO was modulated by the injection/extraction of Li+. The device can cyclically reversible change between the colorless and colored states by the extracting/inserting of Li+ in the ITO electrode. These finds indicated that ITO can become the potential candidate for electrochromic material with low cost and good coloring efficiency.
