摘要
Mucociliary clearance is an important primary innate defense mechanism that protects the lung deleterious effects of inhaled microbes and irritants.PM2.5 exposure can damage on innate defense mechanism of human respiratory system, impairs mucociliary clearance, induce mucin production and decline the function of mucus clearance, which lead to ariway obstrution.There have a significant correlation between fine particle pollutants and respiratory system disease.The present paper reviews the effects of PM2.5 exposure on mucociliary clearance in airway.
