Inhibitory effect of Weiweikang granule on pathomorphology and cell proliferation of gastric mucosa in rat with chronic atrophic gastritis

Objective:To study the effect and the mechanism of Wei-Wei-Kang-Granule on rats with chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG).Method:Chronic atrophic gastritis of rat was established through a synthesized method.The rats were treated with Wei-Wei-Kang-Granule after the model was made successfully.The influences of the powder on morphology of gastric mucosa and the expression of NF-kB and PCNA in gastric mucosa endothelial cell of the rats with CAG were investigated.Result:Wei-Wei-Kang-Granule could reduce the injuries in CAG rats,restore the gastric mucosa,reduce inflammatory reactions,degrade the expression of NF-kB and PCNA(P 0.01或P 0.05).Conclusion:Wei-Wei-Kang-Granule could improve pathomorphological changes in CAG rats.It might be related with enhancement of inhibitting cell proliferation.
