Objective To investigate the clinical diagnosis, treatment, prognosis of deep venous thrombosis of lower extremity after gynecologic operation. Methods The clinical data of 10 patients with gynecologic operation complicated with deep venous thrombosis in our hospital from January 2008 to January 2012 were analyzed retrospectively. Results All cases were diagnosed by color Doppler ultrasound. With the comprehensive treatment, 8 cases were cured and 2 cases were improved, without case of pulmonary embolism. The treatment time was 6~25d, with the average time of (13.5±2.5) d. Conclusions More attention should be paid to the prevention of deep venous thrombosis of lower extremity after gynecologic operation. Early discovery and early treatment are important.
