In order to understand the aerodynamic characteristic of hollow projectile,the three-dimensional Euler equations of exterior Ballistics flow for hollow and solid projectile were established.And the differential equation group in center of mass for two projectiles was established.The 12.7mm test bullet was taken for numerical simulation.It is found that the drag coefficient of the hollow projectile is much smaller than the solid projectile.And in exterior trajectory,the hollow projectile is able to better maintain the high-flying speed and trajectory.It is more conducive to raising the fire effect of automatic weapons.
