Aiming at the issue of onboard equipment's poor performance and fatigue damage caused by vibration, a method for vibration damper design is proposed. According to the experimental data and forced vibration theory, a model of equivalent's vibration damper is established. Two groups of metallic wire mesh vibration dampers are designed, and the vibration damper's performance is tested experimentally. Results of the test show that the two groups of the vibration dampers can reduce the vibration of the onboard electronic equipment, and the damper's performance of the second group is better than that of the first one. It is verified that the method for vibration damper design is reasonable. It can improve system performance effectively and extend the lifespan of the onboard equipment.
