Research of Application Conditions of Gas-oil Separator in Electrical Submersible Pump System

The conditions of gas-oil separator application are difficult to be found in indoor testing because of the special structure and perplexing surrounding.In this text,after analyzing the separator's working conditions in oil well,the basic conditions of testing it indoor was obtained.Depending on lots of data from the indoor tests,which include testing in one medium(water) and testing in the mixed mediums(water and gas),the maximum of inlet gas-liquid ratio(GLR) of gas-oil separator and the changing rule with changing flow was obtained,which can be used to direct the application of separator in electrical submersible pump.
