Isolation of Isoflavones in Soybean Plumule and Their Chemical Structure Determination

Eight isoflavones were isolated and characterized from soybean plumule using column chromatography, including Glycitin, Daidzin,Genistin,Malonyl glycitin,Glycitein,Daidzein,Genistein,and 6″ Arabinose Genistin. The 6″ Arabinose Genistin is discovered in soybean for the first time.
