Advances on the Relationship between Ethylene and Fruit Ripening

This review focuses on recent studies of ethylene biosynthesis and signal transduction in the progress of fruit ripening. Molecular discussion also includes the regulation in fruit ripening from many key points of ethylene pathway. At the same time the relation between ethylene and banana fruit ripening is emphasized.
