Pride:Its Two-dimension Structure and Funcitions

In science of psychology,pride is a typical self-consciousness emotion,which refers to a pleasurable subjective fellings that results from individuals attributing success envents to positive envents to their own abilities or efforts.There are two dimensions of pride:authentic pride and hubristic pride.Pride has played in the attainment,maintenance,and communication of social status;The two dimensions of pride also serve the function of promotion of social status:authentic pride promotes prestigious status,and hubristic pride motivates dominant status.
