Theme in Contemporary China and Mainstream Film

It is an important phenomenon to propose the conception of mainstream film.However,it remains immature neither in theory nor in practice.Theme art and its expansion of theme film is a dominant impetus of mainstream film development.Art film and commercial film also have exerted a significant influence upon the development of mainstream film.Currently,we advocate that diversified film forms maintain their own advantages and characteristics.Only in such way could film creation step forward unto the form of mainstream film.
