Study on calculation of curvature radius of bent segment of belt conveyors

On the basis of tension analysis on the convex segment and the concave segment of the belt conveyor, geometrical relationship and mechanical relationship were applied to deduce the relationship equation of curvature radius and belt tension. The study offered references for determination and checking of the curvature radius of the belt conveyor.
