Analysis and Simulation of Scroll Compressor Chamber's Deformation

Based on general profile theory,the geometric model and characteristics of scroll compressor chamber's deformation were overall analyzed.It was proposed that the changes of chamber's length and volume could be acted as mainly deformation characteristics.For a type scroll compressor chambers with aircle involute,its model in motion process and characteristics deformation were investigated and its deformation was simulated.The study shows that the length and volume of scroll compressor chambers with aircle involute proportion to scroll compressor cham-ber's normal-angle,basic aircle radius and orbiting radius.The deformation of scroll compressor chambers with aircle involute is steady and change efficiency is high,so the profile based on aircle involute is well adopted in practices.
