Progress on Anti-tumor Effect of Sanguinarine

Sanguinarine is a benzene phenanthridine isoquinoline alkaloid which can anti-bacterial,anti-inflammatory,anti-tumor,insecticidal effects and can induce apoptosis,and has been as a new type of drug in medicine and agricultural production.This review summarized research progress of sanguinarine on antitumor effects and its mechanism,which could provide a reference for the application of sanguinarine in clinical.
