Androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) is the standard therapy for advanced prostate cancer. However, it encompasses several adverse effects, with impact on patient’s quality of life and, eventually, on overall survival. This article will review the most important side-effects associated with androgen deprivation therapy and the methods for minimizing their impact.
