Carbonic Acid Derivatives from Formamides

Abstract Starting from a few known synthese employing formamide/acid chloride adducts or the formamide chlorides derived therefrom, new routes leading to aromatic isocynodichlorides, iminochlorothioformates, and organic thiocyanates are described. The respective reaction mechanisms are briefly discussed.
