A Dual‐Channel Fluorescent Probe for Detection of Biothiols in Green and Further Differentiation of Cys/Hcy in Near‐Infrared Regions

ABSTRACT Biothiols like cysteine and homocysteine have important physiological activities in organisms. Therefore, the effective monitoring of such substances holds special significance. In this work, a dual‐channel fluorescent probe DEHQ‐NBD was developed for the detection of biothiols in green and further differentiation of Cys/Hcy in NIR regions. Meanwhile, the probe exhibits good photostability, rapid response, and low cytotoxicity, which has been successfully applied in cell imaging.
