摘要
The pulsed magnets for 80 T are usually designed as a dual-coil system, with concentric and symmetrical structures. In this paper, a new duplex magnet for 80 T is designed. Its outer coil is made of CuCrZr wire, instead of CuNb wire, to reduce the manufacturing cost of the magnet. Its inner coil structure is improved and reinforced by a stainless steel sleeve with cooling channels to reduce the stress on it and shorten its cooling time, which is beneficial to the long-term operation of the magnet. The strength of the CuCrZr wire for the outer coil has been tested, and the influence of electromagnetic force caused by the assembly deviation of the duplex magnet in axial, radial, and angular directions is analyzed.
