Iron Deficiency in Pregnancy and Postpartum: It is Time for a Change

Ferrous sulfate is an effective treatment for subsidizing iron intake and is readily available in many formulations. This article is an editorial examining accumulated evidence about iron deficiency during pregnancy and the efficacy of treatments.
