Research on Direct Torque Control for Brushless DC Motor

Direct Torque Control(DTC)is a high performance control method,which can reduce torque ripple and produce excellent torque dynamic response.Now,DTC has been used for induction motor and permanent magnet synchronous motor successfully.By solving calculation of torque in BLDC which has trapezoidal flux-link,the definition of space voltage vector based on conduction mode and the selection of switch table,applied the DTC to BLDCMs.The simulating and experimental results show that DTC can be use to BLDCMs and have better performance as to induction motor and permanent magnet synchronous motor.
