The Application of Motif method in the Study of Ethnic Myths

Motif is the most basic element in the analyzing of myth narratives. By using it,the conversational platform among ethnic myths can be constructed. The key of motif analyzing system is motif types and the levels. The objective of using motifs is to reveal the individualities,commons,narrative construction and cultural connotation of the ethnic myths by means of summarizing,comparing and analyzing the motifs.
