Washback of Language Tests and the Suggestion on English Tests' Reform

There many kinds of English tests which bring some negative effect on English language teaching.Our English Teaching tends to be test-centered while the positive effect of language tests on English teaching and learning is hindered someway.So the key to solve the problem is to have reform on English tests—to diversify the types of questions,apply questions which can check students' language application,and add oral tests.In a word,we should improve English teaching and learning by using language tests.
