The Effects of Impurities on the Current Efficiency in Zinc Electrowinning

In this paper,the effects of impurities on the current efficiency in Zinc electrowinning were investigated.The acceptable concentration of impurities were declined a great deal when the acid concentration was high.The concentration ranges of impurities that affected Zinc electrowinning considerabl were 0.3～0.4 mg/L As and Sb,0.04 mg/L Ge and 3～5 mg/L Co for the solution containing 45 g/L Zn and 120 g/L H_2SO_4.
