Based on theories of evolutionary psychology, the study explored the mechanism that how males and females to process risk-taking informations by Single Category Implicit Association Test. According to the findings, when the participants' reaction times were adopted as the criterion, only male participants presented the implicit association, and the gender difference of the implicit association effect is significant while no obvious difference between the two risk types was found;Further analysis of the implicit association D scores found that both male and female participants presented an implicit association, and the main effects of gender and risk type is not significant. Thus,we draw the conclusion as follows:the implicit association between risk-taking information and mating motives was found in the present study, and to a certain extent, males and females had different performance while processing risk-taking informations;the types of risk-taking informations had no impact on the implicit association effect between risk-taking imformation and mating motives.
