Water-soluble chloride and sulfate ion concentration in moderate saline and alkaline soil collected from Zhongchuan Township of Minhe county in Qinghai province were measured.Effects of extracting conditions on Water-soluble chloride and sulfate ion concentration measured by ion chronmatography in soil were determined. The effects of extracting time and water-soil ration on results were analyzed. Results showed: the water-soil ration was 20 ∶1,chloride and sulfate ion content were highest at extracting 60 min, while water-soil ration was 10 ∶1,chloride and sulfate ion content were highest at extracting 30 min.
