Objective: To analyze the genotypes distribution and age characteristics of the high- risk human papillomavirus( HPV) in Southwestern Henan, then look for dominant genotype. Methods: Cervical cells with cervical lesions were clinically routinely collected. DNA of cervical cells were extracted and quantitative PCR was used to analyzed. Finally, the datas were entered into SPSS11. 5 to analyze gene distribution characteristics and determine the dominant genotype. Results: In this study,468 cases were sent to detect by quantitative PCR and 127 cases of high- risk samples were determined, the positive rate was 27. 1%. The top five high- risk HPV genotypes were58( 24. 87%),16( 16. 58%),56( 12. 59%),52( 8. 80%),18( 8. 29%) in turn. The highest infection rate was HPV58 genotypes and it was dominant genotype of female in Southwestern Henan. Mixed genotypes infection were main, accounted for 69. 58%. High- risk HPV infection was the highest in 34 years or less, the difference was statistically significant( P 0. 05). Conclusion: HPV58 is the dominant gene for high- risk HPV genotype infection in Southwestern, with geographical features. This settles a foundation for high- risk HPV infection prevention guidelines, the virus genotyping and vaccine design.
