NEW METHODS TO PRODUCE RED CdS_xSe_(1-x) GLAZE WITH HIGH-TEMPERATURE RESISTANT

The reasons of red (yellow) CdSxSe1-x glaze with worse high - temperature resistance were investigated with X-ray diffraction. The red (yellow) CdSxSe1-x glaze was obtained with high-temperature resistance and low cost through; (1) adding additives to the red glaze powder, (2)the red glaze powder with additives packed by ZrO2-SiO2 gel. The glaze-firing temperature was raised to (1) 1200℃, (2) 130℃. It can be produced and used without any additional facilities.Zr3Se4 with high-temperature resistance was found in the red glaze by TEM.
