Refraction of Spherical Wavefronts through a Cascade of Optically Homogeneous Non-absorbing Media

The refraction of spherical wavefronts through an array of plane slabs is considered. Equations have been developed which enable for a given geometry of the refraction problem, computation of coordinates of an arbitrary point located on the ray in the final emergent medium. The shape of the refracted wavefront is then worked out in four special cases.
