Structure related Antifeedant Activity of Azadirachtins against the Tobacco Cutworm, Spodoptera litura F.

Structure related insect antifeedant activity of azadirachtins A,B,D,H and I against Spodoptera litura (F.) hah been studied using both no-choice and duel choice bioassays. The importance of the type of substitutions in the decalin rings A and B of the azadirachtin molecule in enhancing antifeedancy is discussed.
