摘要
Poor sleep and insomnia are important factors influencing the quality of life of patients with other sleep disorders. Patients suffering from co-morbid insomnia experience the additive detrimental night-time and day-time symptoms of each disorder with greater impairments to day-time functioning and quality of life. Implementing CBT-I adaptations in the treatment of insomnia in patients with other sleep disorders is a priority. To this end, this chapter aims at providing clinical guidelines for professionals for offering high quality CBT for insomnia to patients suffering for other sleep disorders such as sleep apnoea, narcolepsy, parasomnia, sleep–wake schedule disorders and restless legs syndrome.
