Studies in organic mass spectrometry. 12–Electron impact ionization mass spectra of some 3‐nitropyrroles

Abstract The positive‐ion electron impact ionization mass spectra of eight substituted 3‐nitropyrroles were examined. The major fragment ions arise by ortho interactions between the 3‐nitro group and the 2‐methyl or 2‐aryl group.
