Intumescent performance of steel-structure fire retardant coating

The intumescent times of super-thin and thin steelstructure fire-retardant coatings were tested with the test method of the intumescent times.The test results were analyzed by the comparision method,leading to obtaining their varying rules of intumescent times with fire resistant time,which showed that their different varying rules of intumescent times and implied both intumescent mechanism.When the intumescent times of the super-thin fire-retardant coatings are more than 35 times and those of the thin fire-retardant coatings are more than 10 times,the quality of the related coatings can be intended to be eligible.Otherwise,disqualification.
