Objective To investigate clinical value of fine needle aspiration smears on studying of non-Hodgkin’S lymphoma(NHL).Methods Fine needle aspiration smears of outpatients and inpatients of our hospital from December,2008 to December,2012 were reexamined. The results were analyzed by observing cytological characteristics of NHL and comparing with histopathology. Results All 126 cases of NHL including 42(33.3%) cases of Follicular lymphoma,40(31.8%) cases of mantle cell lymphoma,21(16.7%) cases of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma,11(8.7%) cases of plasmablast type lymphoma,7(5.6%) cases of anaplastic large cell lymphoma and 5(4.0%) cases of convoluted cell lymphoma were found. Conclusion After proceeding repeat comparison and morphological characteristics analysis of NHL cells,we found that each type of NHL cells was formed by B cells or T cells through different transformation way,and had its own cell characteristics and mutual evolution excessive shapes. These discoveries could help us improve our ability of identifying NHL cells, and help clinical staff to diagnose and cure NHL and judge its prognosis.
