Through two-year studies, a new preservative for cut Anthurium was developed. This preservative is nonpoisonous,corrosion-free, colorless and pollution-free and has remarkable preservative effect. It was proved that this preservative had steady preservative effect under different environmental temperatures through comparative experiments; and could prolong preservative time and hold significant advantage in comparison with Ag+ agent and the control. It has a bright prospect for further development.
